Plaquenil (Hydroxychloroquine) is a medication used to treat rheumatic disorders like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and sjogren's syndrome. In somewhat rare occurrences this med can cause a maculopathy that can cause irreversible vision problems. Yearly monitoring is recommended.
